The 50
Project
The 50 Project was created through an iterative, semester-long process that involved the design of 50 poster variations based on the formal elements of any well-known poster designer of our choosing. Inspired by the formal references to cubism, I selected “Flight,” designed by Edward Kauffer in 1919 to launch The Daily Herald Newspaper. I created a newspaper as a physical output to showcase all 50 posters.
