Sounds
of Sunday

The audience was invited to explore the sights and sounds evocative of a Sunday by touching conductive paint, which triggered sounds from a hidden Arduino board as a projection of macro photos looped on a screen in front of them. The intimacy of the macro photos gave a peaceful and relaxed aspect to go with the feeling of a Sunday, but also a mystery for the audience to explore as they played the recordings.

Collaborating with classmates to combine several different mediums into an interactive installation made for an incredibly fun design process that was as valuable as the final outcome.

Notes: Projection; audio recording; Arduino Board; conductive paint; macro photography
