Fifty
Questions

As part of my MFA thesis research, I developed a list of 50 questions about the intersection of life and graphic design that were both of formal and conceptual quality. To uncover connections between these questions, I created an immersive installation that allowed me to step inside my own content and draw conclusions which may not have been obvious in a 2D format. A video loop that randomly faded questions in and out was projected on a series of three posters containing additional questions.

The experience left aspects of the connection-making up to chance based on the random sequence of the video loop and the location of the viewer standing inside the installation.

Notes: Macro photography; projection; animation

Size:
23 x 33 inches (Posters, 3)
84 x 63 inches (Projection)
