As Protest
Process As Protest is more than a synopsis of my MFA thesis work, it's a story about my journey as an MFA-Graphic Design student and my values as a designer. I began my thesis journey determined to use a specific, pre-determined design process to examine certain technologies through a critical lens. Through my thesis experience, and through the making of this book, I learned that process doesn’t have to mean following hard rules. It can simply be about using the tools you enjoy to create work you feel excited about. And then doing it again. And again. What holds importance to me, is using my creative process—however it may change over time—to create work that I consider a natural extension of who I am as a person.
