Metronomic
Metronomic is a soundscape that captures the hollowed-out simulation of community found within the comment sections of Adobe’s online portfolio platform, Behance. In the score, I use voice-to-text to bring a physicality to an entire comment section of one individual Behance user. To hear these comments out loud reveals the shallow intentions behind the words themselves while at the same time breaths a small semblance of life into their meaning. Layered throughout is the ticking of various metronomic systems coupled with analog and digital tones that amplify the ominous, robotic nature of this technology.
