As someone who lives with Auditory Processing Disorder, I often experience sound as a garbled or confused sensation.

As a way to describe this experience, I asked friends to record themselves speaking the same excerpt from “Yage Letters” by William S. Burroughs to Allen Ginsberg. Gradually, I layered each recording on top of one another and animated typography to match the build up of sound.
