Outside In
Feeling cagy during COVID-19 social distancing and nostalgic for simple pleasures like exploring my neighborhood, I created an installation that brought the outside world inside the walls of my living room. Through my window, I filmed different parts of my street and then projected this footage on the wall of my apartment that overlooks the same street. Through audio recording, I captured the natural sounds of my surroundings which included birds chirping, ambulance sirens, and my boyfriend playing the guitar.
