In-house brand, strategy, and sales enablement at a tech startup.
Unruly Studios offers an ed-tech SaaS model for active-play engagement tools in the classroom. As their in-house designer, I collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to continuously grow and evolve the brand and bottom line.
At Unruly, I create visual systems, develop adaptable templates, and train new team members on brand implementation. Beyond design, I've enhanced lead generation by overhauling website forms, crafted compelling customer stories for sales, and developed Figma prototypes for product development. This role enables me to help shape and amplify Unruly's brand identity from the inside out.

Championing Unruly’s Bold, Playful Brand Identity
At Unruly, my role is to develop and maintain our brand while coaching team members on how to consistently and creatively apply our signature style. My goal is to maintain a strong and playful brand voice across all areas, including external marketing, customer engagement, and internal communications.






Creating Sales Tools that Connect with Educators
I regularly collaborate with the sales team to create targeted enablement materials, such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and video testimonials, that address Unruly's diverse audience of educators and school districts.














Designing Digital and Physical Experiences that Drive Engagement
I collaborate with Unruly's product engineers and web developers to create digital experiences that effectively generate leads through user-friendly design. I oversee the publication of lead generation content, including whitepapers, guides, and social media advertisements. Additionally, I am responsible for designing our booth experience at in-person conferences, ensuring a seamless brand and marketing strategy that aligns with Unruly's mission to bring active play and learning into the classroom.





From overseeing our visual asset library to art directing photoshoots, my role is about building a lasting brand that supports business growth and customer relationships.









Celebrating Customers Through Engagement Events
One of the best aspects of Unruly is the genuine love and appreciation they show their customers—fabulous educators and engaged students! Throughout the year, Unruly hosts a variety of customer events, each with its own unique visual identity, which I manage from concept to execution. These events, essentially "sub-brands" for the occasion, provide a chance to tailor our design approach to the specific vibe and goal of each event.
My absolute favorite is Stomp Madness, a fun and energetic competition that brings educators and students together in the spirit of play. You can learn more about this campaign here.
