MIT List
Visual Arts
Center

During my internship at the MIT List Visual Arts Center, I gained experience designing within the parameters of an art museum and gallery setting. I had the opportunity to create materials that highlighted the unique exhibitions happening inside the gallery, while maintaining the overall brand identity of the List Center.

Many of the pieces I created centered around the promotion of their two exhibitions at the time, Christine Sun Kim: Off the Charts and Colored People Time. Exploring ways to visually represent both exhibitions simultaneously was an exciting challenge. The artists’ work in both exhibitions were aesthetically strong and unique, but very different. My goal was to select imagery that best represented their respective exhibitions while maintaining visual harmony and balance when paired together.
